A Season of Belonging at Weingart Center
This holiday season was a time of joy and connection across our communities at Weingart Center. From an adorable Santa Paws celebration to cookie decorating, holiday movies, parties, and more, the spirit of the season was felt throughout our sites. These moments highlighted the communities we continue to build, the friendships that form every day, and the sense of belonging experienced by our residents and clients.
Santa Paws at Hilda Solis
On December 6, Santa Paws came to town at our Hilda Solis Care First Village. There were professional grooming services, vaccinations, and basic veterinary care available for all the pets in the community.
Free pet supplies, including food, leashes and collars, toys, and grooming products, were also distributed, ensuring that our furry friends felt the love this holiday season. This special event was made possible by Go Hollywood Grooming, Timberwolf Pet Products, The Rescue Train, and PetExpress, and our photos prove just how un-fur-gettable the day truly was.
Small Traditions, Big Meaning
Sometimes, the smallest gestures and celebrations carry the greatest meaning. Holidays are often rooted in tradition, and we strive to create spaces where comfort, joy, and connection can be felt.
Across our locations, residents decorated cookies, built gingerbread houses, and crafted holiday hats. Alongside these creative moments were opportunities for simple togetherness. At Weingart Tower, one of our permanent supportive housing communities, residents gathered for an evening screening of the quintessential holiday classic, Home Alone. At 11010 smB, another permanent supportive housing location on Santa Monica Boulevard, residents celebrated the season together at a holiday party filled with warmth and cheer.
As we move into the new year, we carry these moments with us. They remind us that stability, care, and belonging are built not only through the services we provide, but through shared experiences we foster. Thank you to everyone who helped make this holiday season one of connection, warmth, and community for all.
