Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
You’ve probably heard the old adage, “Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork.” At the Weingart Center, that’s more than just a feel-good cliché; it’s a mantra.
Recently, one of our THP1 clients, who was nearing the end of his stay at the Weingart Center, became worried that he might not receive a funder extension. Since reentry programs like THP are not part of the Homeless Continuums of Care (CoCs)2, our Access Center3 intake worker, Marco Corona, jumped in to help coordinate our client’s next step.
Marco worked diligently with the LASHA Project Roomkey4 team to place our client into a local Project Roomkey site.
Today, our client is enjoying the comfort of his new room, and continues to use the resources provided to him by our great Access Center team.
