Latin-themed fundraiser with casino gaming benefits the Weingart Center Association,
an organization that helps homeless individuals lead self-sufficient lives
Los Angeles, Calif. – May 27, 2009 Indulge in the glamour of old world Cuba at the Weingart Partners’ sixth annual Summer Soiree, A Night in Havana. The event will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the Sports Club/LA. Dance to the big African and Spanish influenced sounds of the island. Mingle with friends and celebrities while enjoying delectable food. Roll the dice and play cards in our casino parlor. Sip signature classic Cuban cocktails. This event promises to provide all the sensuous vitality that can only come from A Night in Havana…
Summer Soiree, A Night in Havana is hosted by the Weingart Partners, a dynamic group of upwardly mobile professionals who have committed themselves to creating a better community by volunteering their time and resources to organize annual fundraising events and activities to benefit the Weingart Center Association and the issue of homelessness throughout Southern California.
General admission tickets are $85.00 (includes 2 drink tickets and $100 in gaming chips). The annual Summer Soiree event benefits the Weingart Center Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers transitional residential housing, medical and mental health treatment, substance abuse recovery, education, workforce development, and long-term case management to help homeless individuals stabilize their lives, secure income and find permanent housing. More than ever, the homeless men and women of Los Angeles need our assistance to become self-sufficient members of society.
