Patrick Corvington Visits Weingart Center

On the heels of the fourth annual AmeriCorps Week, which took place May 8–15, 2010,  Patrick Corvington, CEO of the Corporation for National and Community Service, visited us here at the Weingart Center.   AmeriCorps Week is a time to celebrate the power of service by talking about and recognizing the contributions that AmeriCorps members, alumni, programs, and grantees are making in communities across the nation.  A big thank you to Patrick Corvington for visiting us here at the Weingart Center and learning more about our AmeriCorps program and how we are serving the Skid Row community.
