CAUSE ON THE ROCKS is back, a little stirred up and stronger than ever! This time around they’ve partnered up with The Weingart Center Association and MojaMoja to bring all you Angelenos a night of drinking, dancing and donating all for a great cause. Come out to the Viceroy on Tuesday, August 10 at 7p.m. and help support the Weingart Center raise money to break the cycle of homelessness in LA. This month's special drink, courtesy of our favorite bartenders at the Viceroy, is the LYCHEE MARTINI.
If you didn't already know, the Weingart Center provides transitional housing; case management; medical, mental health and substance abuse treatment; and education and workforce development to men and women living on the streets in and around the Los Angeles. For the whole month of August 100% (that's right -- 100%) of drink sales of LYCHEE MARTINIs will be given directly to the Weingart Center for their continued work in transforming the lives of homeless men and women.
A big shout out to Special Guest DJ Brazilia, who will be spinning an international mix of Organic Sounds and Nu Bold Back-beats, courtesy of KCRW DJ Garth Trinidad's premier event series MojaMoja. MojaMoja works to bring awareness to worthy nonprofit causes, sponsoring performances by established and emerging international artists, guest DJ's and live dance groups.
So if you remember one thing -- it's order the LYCHEE MARTINI when you come to the Viceroy for the Cause on the Rocks reception or ANY time in August! Just think that by buying one drink, you could be the reason one more individual is off the streets and on the path to living a better life.
