Item Donations

Item and In-Kind donations help us better serve our participants and minimize our costs 

There are a wide variety of items and products that we can gladly accept and put to good use.  Bulk donations for food, toiletries, gift cards to local retailers, cleaning products and bedding/linens (new) are greatly appreciated because they help us minimize our operating costs.   

Clothing Donations

Many of our participants come to us with little more than the clothes they are wearing. Your clothing and personal hygiene donations, therefore, make an immediate and direct impact on the lives of our participants by giving them a chance to look and feel better about themselves, which is an important step towards building confidence and a positive self-image.

We gladly accept donations of new and gently used clothing, shoes, accessories and other personal items. All items should be clean, preferably on hangers, and ready to use. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt for your kind donation.

Immediate Need for Business Attire

Clothing donations are especially beneficial for our participants who are entering the workforce— proper attire is critical to securing and maintaining a job. The Weingart Center Association is in immediate need of interview appropriate clothing for both women and especially men. We need suits, slacks, dress shirts, blouses, shoes and accessories (ties, scarves, belts, socks and jewelry). We especially need plus sizes.

We are also in need of blankets for our participants.  Blankets should be new. 

Personal Garments and Hygiene Products

There is also a year-round need for men's and woman's new underwear, socks and t-shirts. Once again, plus size and larger sizes (up to 5X) are desperately needed. Unused personal hygiene items are also always appreciated.
