What makes teh Weingart Center unique is our desire and ability to produce total life transformations.  The breadth of services we offer, the volume of people we help, and our willingness to serve the most challenging cases also sets us apart.  Unlike traditional rescue missions and shelters, the Weingart Center provides long-term (up to two years) transitional housing along with comprehensive services so people can truly address the barriers and issues preventing them from leading productive lives in the community.  We offer more than a short-term fix; we give individuals the skills, tools, resources and hope they need to transform their lives and be self-sufficient.
