President
Nick Alexander Imports
Serving on the Board since 2009
“I am passionate about supporting Weingart Center because it focuses on big picture transformation. This isn’t a temporary fix of a meal and a bed, but a thoughtful, long-term approach to equipping people with life skills they often didn’t receive earlier in life. It is a true one-stop shop for piecing back together truly fractured lives so these people are able to become functioning members of our community. I have never seen an operation that achieves this with more compassion than the team of professionals at Weingart.”
“I chose to join Weingart because I’m an eternal optimist and I love the notion that the goal is to make itself obsolete! Their mission is truly to solve homelessness. I know that in order to achieve that goal, ‘It Starts With Me.’ Trust that as a Board Member, if you choose to make a contribution, I will carefully ensure that your money is well invested in helping to transform the lives of our city’s homeless.”
