Eddie De Ochoa

Senior Business Consultant
Adminstaff

Serving on the Board since 2008

Eddie chose to become part of the Weingart Center because he feels everyone has a right to have the basic necessities of life. “My life’s mission can be summed up in one of Ghandi’s quotes, ‘The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others’,” says Eddie. “This drives me every day. We need to help children, who are our future. And we need to provide food, clothing, shelter, and jobs for all who need and want them. These are the things that motivate me to be involved with the Weingart Center.”

Texas native Eddie De Ochoa has worked for several financial institutions including: UCB where he served as Operations Officer in the Los Angeles Main Office; First Western Bank, which became Lloyds Bank and now Sanwa Bank, where he served as Vice President and Manager of the Correspondent Banking Department; and U.S. Bancorp Financial where he served as Vice President of Business Development.

Eddie then moved into real estate with First City Corporation as a commercial real estate broker. In 1998, he became a Senior Business Consultant with Administaff, a company that helps businesses throughout the U.S. manage their human resources more efficiently and cost effectively.

Eddie attended Victoria College and majored in Business Administration.  Eddie and his wife, Denise Anthony, Vice President at Fidelity National Title Co., do not have any children but are very active in working with non-profit organizations and foundations, which have become their children. A few of their chosen organizations include:

• Hollenbeck Youth Center
• Weingart Center
• Hollygrove Orphanage
• Crippled Children’s Society
• Junior Philharmonic Foundation
• L.A. Library Foundation
• Glendale Memorial Hospital Foundation

In addition to charity work, Eddie enjoys sailing, traveling, entertaining, gourmet cooking, wine tasting, and is a new enthusiast for golf and tennis.
