On Saturday, June 26, 2010, the Weingart Partners hosted their 7th annual summer fundraiser, Summer Soirée, Back to Bourbon Street, at The Sports Club/LA. At this New Orleans-themed event, guests dined on Creole-style food and drinks, tested their luck in our fantasy casino, listened to a live jazz band headed by John March, and bid on some incredible silent auction items. Weingart Partners Andy Springer of Resolve Capital and Elian Nassi co-chaired the event this year, which raised nearly $40,000 for the Weingart Center. The Weingart Partners is a volunteer group of young business professionals that dedicate themselves to raising funds and awareness for the Weingart Center and the issue of homelessness. Thank you to current and past board members— Kevin Pelletier, Elizabeth Alexander, Michael Tusing and Bill Anderson— for attending, and a big thank you to our Weingart Partners for organizing an amazing event!
