Summer Soiree - A Night in Havana

On Saturday, June 20, 2009, the Weingart Partners hosted their 6th annual summer fundraiser, Summer Soirée, A Night in Havana at The Sports Club/LA.
This Latin-themed night featured a live Latin jazz band headed by John March, casino gaming, food and drinks, including the signature cocktail--the cuba libre, and an incredible silent auction. This year's Summer Soirée attracted nearly 300 business leaders, top-level executives and celebrities from the Los Angeles area.
Charlene Lo of Ernst & Young and Andy Springer of Resolve Capital co-chaired the A Night in Havana event, which surpassed last year's fundraising efforts by raising $70,000! All proceeds from the event benefit the Weingart Center Association and its programs to rehabilitate the homeless in Los Angeles.
The Weingart Center thanks the Weingart Partners, a volunteer group of young business professionals, for planning this highly successful event, and also for their on-going dedication to helping our participants break the cycle of homelessness and lead self-sufficient lives.
