Graduation 2011

Graduation is one of the most significant milestones in anyone’s life.  For men and women who have lived on the streets, celebrating the completion of one of the Weingart Center’s life-changing programs is indeed a momentous occasion.

Some of our participants come to us without much education or even an ID while others have suffered severe trauma.  We help our participants deal with complex issues while preparing them for fulfilling, productive lives. 

On June 23, the Weingart Center will host a graduation ceremony that will honor our participants as they move to the next stage of their lives.  We need your help to make this a celebration our participants will remember for the rest of their lives; one that will serve as a reminder for all they have accomplished as well as the opportunities that await them.

We are in need of item or cash donations for:

• Caps & gowns
• Gifts for our graduates
• Refreshments for the event
