CityLive 1998
On October 3, 1998, the Weingart Center went on a ride at the Universal Back Lot for their annual CityLive celebration.
After a musical introduction, Vignette Hart sang “Home” from The Wiz, MC comedian Jay Thomas brought everyone together to honor this year’s guests.
Stephen Frank, President & COO of Southern California Edison, was 1998 recipient of the Corporate Inspiration Award and was introduced by Paul Keglevic of Arthur Anderson.
The WB television show 7th Heaven was the recipient of the Entertainment Inspiration Award. Show producers Aaron Spelling, Brenda Hampton and E. Duke Vincent were joined by cast members Beverly Mitchell and Catherine Hicks.
Afterwards the crowd was treated to the rides at Universal Studios including a turn on the brand new roller coaster based on the movie Jurassic Park.
