City Live

The Weingart Center's annual fundraising event, City Live, brings people together in a celebration of life, hope, and opportunities. Held in the fall of each year, the event is a fun-filled evening of food, entertainment, awareness, and possibilities.

In 1992, a group of dedicated and committed volunteers organized the first City Live to support the Weingart Center's comprehensive programs serving Los Angeles' homeless and indigent population. The successful event raised money and awareness in the community, beginning a tradition of community involvement and education.

Over the years, City Live has offered unique activities, wonderful entertainment, and inspiring messages. It honors the spirit of Los Angeles and those who have made a difference, by generating support and a heightened sense of awareness about the issues facing the homeless and indigent in our community.
