The issues that homeless and indigent men and women confront each day are complex. The Weingart Center is there to provide the services, tools, and resources they need to break the cycle of homelessness and begin the process of making self-sufficiency more than a dream.

Homeless men and women who want to make a commitment to change their lives receive more than a temporary "home" and three nutritional meals daily, they get a second chance with opportunities for employment, education, training, and a variety of resources.

Your donation will help our clients to work towards their dream of achieving self-sufficiency, rebuilding lives one step at a time. A donation of $50 will feed one homeless person for a week and a donation of $100 will provide shelter for a homeless person for a week at the Weingart Center. Larger donations have a wider impact, reaching more individuals and changing more lives.

Immediate Need

The Weingart Center is in immediate need of interview appropriate clothing for both women and especially men. We need suits, slacks, dress shirts, blouses, shoes and accessories (ties, scarves, belts, socks and jewelry). The clothing must be good condition, clean, on hangers and ready to wear. We are especially in need of plus sizes.

There is also a year-round need for men's and woman's new underwear, socks and t-shirts.
